"For me, treating a patient isn't limited to improving his or her smile. It also means treating that patient as an individual with respect, kindness, and guidance. My goal is to foster a trusting relationship with my patient that allows us to approach his or her treatment as a team. That really makes the process rewarding for everyone involved."

Dr. Morgan Mitchell, a Louisville native, received her Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Psychology in 2003 from the University of Louisville. She then completed four years of dental training as well as two-years of orthodontic specialty training at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry in 2007 and 2009, respectively. Her honors throughout dental 

training included membership to Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU) and the Delphi Society, both honorary dental societies for academic excellence. She also was recognized for excellence in Anatomical Sciences and Neurobiology as well as excellence in Pathology, and she was a Dean's Scholar throughout the entirety of her training. Dr. Mitchell is currently a member of the American Association of Orthodontists and the American Dental Association.

Dr. Mitchell has been married to her husband Matt, a pediatric dentist in the Mt. Washington and Louisville areas, since 2003. Together, they have three wonderful young sons, Camden, Weston, and Mason. Her favorite time is that spent with her family, whether it be lounging at home or playing at the park or swimming pool. She also enjoys going to the theatre, reading, cooking, and spending time with friends.

As an orthodontist, Dr. Mitchell is devoted to providing her patients with the best quality care possible within a comfortable, inviting setting. With state of the art technology to aid in diagnosis and treatment, she ensures that each patient will receive the most efficient and effective course of treatment. Filling her most treasured role as a mother, she understands how important choosing the right doctor of any kind for your children can be. She is dedicated to assuring her patients that they have made the right decision in entrusting their orthodontic needs to her.
